So, I know we've talked about how gratitude can make you a happier person, but did you know there's SCIENCE behind it too?!?!
Two things that increase your mood/happiness scientifically are the neurotransmitters dopamine and serotonin. Being grateful activates the brain stem region that produces dopamine. It also forces you to focus on the positive things in your life and the act of doing so increases your production of serotonin! BAM! SCIENCE!
Now go be grateful! It's like taking your vitamins! It's good for you! :)
