You've seen it - this trend is everywhere! Gobs of ladies effortlessly sporting their ponchos. I decided to give it a go. First off, I tried it without the belt. This was my first mistake. I couldn't keep the blasted thing on! And I felt like I was wearing a bed sheet. To compensate, I put the belt on. This was good, at least it wasn't falling off my body. It also helped with shape and proportion. While it was aesthetically looking great, I basically found myself in a straight jacket unable to move my arms! haha!
I guess at the end of the day, this will not be a staple in my wardrobe going forward but I sure look on trend, lol! If you have somewhere to go where you'd like to look trendy without having to move your arms, give the poncho a try!
Now let's talk about how I'm able to try these types of trends without buying them! Le Tote is this online closet where you can try any clothes or accessories you want buy paying a flat rate per month and no limit on how many totes per month. It's so easy and fun! After receiving your tote, wear all the items and then send them back in the pre-paid mail envelope provided. You have to give it a try!
And use this code to get $25 off your first tote!
I also wanted to share with you guys about this amazing person and photographer that I had the pleasure of working with on this shoot! If you're in the Houston area, you should be working with Clay Corbin! He's kind, smart, funny and talented! Check out his Facebook page here!
